Problem adding computers to the domain

One of our DC's died a few days ago, it didn't have the master roles on so I didn't think it would be a problem. I just built a new one and did a DCPromo to restore the redundancy.

Now I can't add computers to the domain and trying to work out whats wrong.

I just get a message saying "The following error occurred attempting to join the domain: network path not found"

Any ideas how to troubleshoot it?

Have you updated DHCP Server if the new server IP is different? Are the servers replicating OK? If you enter the the FQDN when adding a workstation does this work OK?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, it was a DNS problem.

Just replaced the new DC with the old DC's IP and its working again.
