    Hi folks, could somone point me in the right direction as how to disable this function in ie8 for xp sp3 workstations / server 2003 ent

    It's in group policy (assuming you've the IE8 adm files)
    UC\Policies\Admin Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\InPrivate
