Another webcam question
We've got a load of webcams which I've been asked to fit on the classroom computers. Is there any software that allows the webcams to work on just our network like class to class video calls?
I've looked at messenger but I'm concerned if the pupils use messenger or skype they will be chatting with people from outside school.

What about adding/taking away proxy settings from messenger?
as in false ones.

I was thinking more of software that we can host on the server that allows video conferencing. Doing it this way the calls are kept within our network.

CounterPath Corporation | X-Lite
You could you it either peer to peer or with a FreePBX | FreePBX server.
But really has this been thought through, I can't imagine what would happen if students were able to video conference each other. You're going to get a lot of messing about.
