Remote Downlevel Document

Hey all

Is there an explanation and a solution to why users get Remote Downlevel Document shown on the queues of the printers instead of the name of the document they have printed??

An update on this

Ive found out why it is showing remote downlevel document but dont know how to sort it.
So.. on the computers in school, we have got the printers set up on the computers so they are installed as a local port \\server\printer using the PCL driver and since that printer is local to the machine the kids can see it and we are getting Remote Downlevel Document.

Ive just tried installing the printer using the " A network printer or a printer attachd to another computer" printed a test page and it showed the document name BUT... when you log on with a different user, it doesnt keep the printer installed on that machine, it is only installed on the user. Now the kids dont have profiles and we arent giving them any either.

Is there anything that can be done so that printer isnt using the local port but all users can see installed network printers

I have a VBS script (it's the script posted by ric in the scripts forum) that sets up printers after login.
