Is there a way that i can setup an account in exchange that i can send emails to the kids and they can't hit the reply button.

Could you not setup an account that is only used for contacting pupils and put a footnote on every email to say that it is not monitored for reply's?

Alternativly you can setup message restrictions in active Directory under the specific account. Exchange General -> Delivery Restrictions -> Message Restrictions -> Only receive From
