When uploading a file to our Learning Platform (as well as saving docs / loading docs generally), you open the dialogue box and select the file you want from a USB stick for example.
You want to go and upload a file from the same folder, but you open the dialogue box and it reverts back to the My Documents folder rather than the last folder you were in, meaning you have to go searching down a potential forest of folders to get back to the original folder.
This will happen for just saving a document in Word etc too.
As far as we can tell, we only restrict the C drive, but if the original folder is the E drive for example, it's not staying. Works fine as technician, obviously.
Found the location of the problem now. Just need to find out what it is.
It seems to be something to do with LAN Ranger, which we're trying to phase out anyway.
