XP Pro will only allow 10 concurrent connections, I think this applies no matter what your running
Doesn't apply. You're only limited by the connection throttling in the XP TCP/IP stack.

Warning: Using the above information will violate the EULA and cause your XP licenses to explode.

Xampp runs on real operating systems too![]()
Yes, that'd be a more sensible direction to head in.

I know but at moment dont want it running on main server we will go on windows 2003 box at some point but until it become available to use wil have to make so.
Got any junk boxes that'll run Linux?

Yes and no to be honest t Linux not my greatest area so until I learn bit more not happy putting box up for all and sundry to hack..
You're running a live system on an XP desktop machine?!?

No not at moment
lol
This mainly testing not desktop machine just an xp pro machine used this purpose.
We just need to test stress of some software apps before we move it open for example testing helpdesk software and the software going to use as part of our intranet once done that got it all working going to move it over to windows 2003.
But once got Intranet bit sorted going to open it to staff to test it stress and load etc
As it is going on windows 2003 box wanted to keep it on windows while we test stuff to keep stuff simlair
