    Ok the Inherited Permission box was still unchecked - re ticked it and its working - woohoo!

    The Inherited permissions box un-ticks after a very small space of time if you are a member of any enterprise / domain admin style groups, so you tick it, apply it, force a sync within milliseconds and then you pray to the god of MS that it works fast and if you prayed hard enough it will remain ticked for long enough to marry together and you will be fine from then onwards Or you could do as you should and not be a member of those style groups for your day to day account thus meaning you don't have the issue as standard users can sync without that box its just admin types.

    Outlook WebApp in firefox runs a lot better than in IE............here's my screenshots of it in FF, been using Exchange Server 2010 since last year, easy to setup:

    Nope, I use it everyday. We have the privilege of having Windows Server 2008 R2 with Exchange 2010 and all of the new servers as they come out.

    One interesting side affect is that MOSS 2007 doesn't like OWA 2010

    Correct you integrate SharePoint in the same version as Exchange, you get limited support for 2010 in 2007 but you want 2010 to match. I had this where I used to work we had SharePoint 2007 with Exchange 2003 so didn't get quite as nice integration, it sort of worked but wasn't that good.
