IE8 Policy Help

Hi,
Just experimenting with the policies for IE8 and got 2 problems I can't find the answers to in GP.

1 - On loading IE it says "This add-on can cause IE to stop responding or crash". and the add on is "Drive Letter Access component". How do I allow this in GP?

2 - When the home page loads it says "A program has corrupted your default search provider set for IE". I have removed the search bar at the top so the pupils have to use the link to Google via the Intranet.

Any ideas?

Has the work stations got roxio on?, if so you will need to update the roxio software as one of the roxio components dose not support IE 8 in that version.
