    Auto discovery for printers and shares

    Is there a group policy setting to disable the Auto discovery of printers and shares in XP?

    It seems to me like there should be but I have been unable to find it. :?

    Not sure about GPO setting but the reg entry is:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software \Microsoft \Windows \CurrentVersion \Explorer \Advanced]
    NoNetCrawling = 1
