    ntuser.dat to ntuser.man

    Server 2003.

I have mandatory profiles which are pulled from \\<server>\netlogon

The "Default User" profile contains ntuser.dat

Lockdown policies prevent the students from making changes on the local workstations so do I still need to rename ntuser.dat to ntuser.man?

    Thanks.

No we did exactly the same until recently. As that's the location on the domain default profile any domain computer will pick that up. Delete them at bootup and lockdown with GP (as you are doing) and you'll have no issues.
