Question VPN Logon over 3G data stick

    Hi guys

I've got a member of staff trying to connect to our VPN over a 3G dongle. This works fine for them when logging on as certain accounts but this one person (who used to be able to log on fine) can't now, ever since a 'routine password change'

The problem seems to be that:
They need their VPN to authenticate their user creds
They need their Internet Connection running to run the VPN
They need to be logged in to run their Internet Connection
    go to line 1

Any idea how I can get their credentials on to their computer so they can log in again?

    Thanks

If it is a domain joined computer then it sounds like the cached credentials have been lost for the user. The simplest way to sort this is to have the user bring in the computer and log into it while it is connected to the domain, this will re-cache it.

Short of this you would need to log on to the system as a local user account then connect to the internet, while connected you could open the vpn then fast user switch to the offending user account and log on.

can they not login using the old password? Then get the internet ~ re-do new password.

Synack's summed up your options well. Realistically the first option is the better of the two.
