    2003 sp2

    Hello,

Just wondering if anyone who is running this has experienced any problems?

IS it similar to R2 release or any similarities i.e, GPO features etc

I am downloading it now to install on my VMs and am looking for any heads up on some problems that i may encounter or other little interesting features.

A list of changes and additions is here. It doesn't add any many features like R2 did, it's mainly bugfixes and feature enhancements

It's still at the RC stage though isn't it?

WDS is the big one for me I think ... and MMC 3.0 is meant to make life easier for delegation of tasks ... but I haven't seen the paperwork / guides for this yet.

How many of you actually delegate tasks to either lower down technicians or even non-icts staff?

I'm a solo tech in our school but I do use delegate to allow teachers to change passwords. I haven't worked out how to delegate just the unlock account option I'd like to give em that too.

Teth: Possibly something that could be added to the admin interface for SSPR I'll ask Irazmus what he thinks.

This is the one thing I am actually being allowed to do ... I don't do support anymore :-(

There are lots of tasks delegated to everyone ... all the way down to LSAs. It all depends on time, resources and so on ...
