Got a very weird issue reported just now anybody any ideas?
PC Restarting when going to print Status:
Details:
When students select the ITC-1 printer in drop down list the PC restarts. Some students are effected by this. It does not seem to be any particular PCs. These students can sometimes print after restart however, some students have suffered this sympton multiple times during a lesson.

11th March 2010, 01:38 PM #2 Tried an updated driver? What kind of printer is it? Does the driver use an older type 1 kernel mode driver, that might be able to cause something like this.

Updated to PCL 6 and seems to have fixed the issue :-)

11th March 2010, 02:36 PM #4 Just a thought but more information on the printer would still be useful... That, operating system, terminal server setup? etc...
Otherwise it looked suspiciously like a "Doohickey doesn't want to work with my thingummy" style bug report...

11th March 2010, 03:01 PM #5 For our print server we run Server 2003, hosting about 100+ printers all HP.
Our clients are Windows XP SP3.
Printer in question was a HP P3015DN
