Quick and easy disk backup
Setting up an outcentre with a few teaching \ smartboard PCs and want to run a basic backup job to disk just to safeguard against the server trashing itself as much as anything.
Looking at a Netgear ReadyNAS or something along those lines then use Windows Backup on a schedule to backup to maybe 7 folders on the NAS (1 for each day of the week?) all automatically.
Don't really want to spend money on software for it if possible but just wondering if anyone has anything like the above running or should I just buy a copy of Backup Exec under Education pricing and be done with it?

NTBackup should do the job just fine. And it gets mentioned all the time but take a look at building your own NAS with Openfiler or FreeNAS - could save a few pennies.

Just the trick, have you got 5 different jobs set on schedule to go to the different folders?
