    Removing custom items from Office Toolbar

    Office 2000

    I want to remove insert > picture > from file from the word 2000 toolbar.

    I've used custom ids to remove stuff like this before, and am sure there's a simple way to find out what each commands id is - anybody know?

    Thank a lot
    Mark

    btw it's for a fellow tech, i've said that there are better ways to achieve what he wants - but his sch needs(want) this anyway.

    Re: Removing custom items from Office Toolbar

    Must've been feeling lucky tonight - was able to modify this VB script to give me the id:

    Code:
    Sub EnumerateControls()
        Dim icbc As Integer
        Dim cbcs As CommandBarControls

        Set cbcs = Application.CommandBars("Menu Bar").Controls("Insert").Controls("picture").Controls
        For icbc = 1 To cbcs.Count
            MsgBox cbcs(icbc).Caption & " = " & cbcs(icbc).ID
        Next icbc
    End Sub

    This lists all the codes for that sub-menu
