Guessing it's just one flat proxy for everyone then, no levels of access. The fact that it works in Firefox is the weirder part to me... JS file looks fine so can't think why it would complain about the file being malformed. First few lines are just

which are, well, JS.
Unless it's one of those useful errors where it's telling you this, but actually caused by something else.
I shall ponder through the day, anyway - gotta get some work in quick before lunch...
