Windows Media Player ActiveX as user

A teacher wants to watch the videos on the scispy.ie website. The won't play for her in Internet Explorer or Firefox but they play fine in both when logged in as administrator. I've set everything ActiveX related in Internet options to Enable. Any suggestions?

If you are useing Vista there is a feature that you can tun on to allow limited user accounts to install peruser activex controls like that, this is installed by default on 7 I think.

Otherwise you may need to try adding the GUID of the ActiveX control to the 'Add-on List' in the Security Features > Add-on managment folder in the Internet Explorer Policy.

Also make sure that you are using the latest version of GPO templates for IE to get all the options, do this by making sure you have IE8 installed on the machine you are using to manage policy.
