I have been playing about with a few custom answer files of unattended installs. I have nearly cracked it but there is just a couple of things i need to know if i can change?
When the pc boots from PC, i have to tell it about the partition and also tell it to from a NTFS/quick and then off it goes, What can i put into my answer file so it just creates one partition, ie the whole drive, and does NTFS by default.
The other problem is when it boots into windows the first time, I have to click next, then choose the 'protect my computer now with security options. then tell it to skip the modem part then add a user name. What do i need to do to make this all automated.
Here is a copy of the relevant parts of my .sif file.
[Data]
Autopartition = 1
MsDosInitiated = NO
UnattendedInstall = Yes
[Unattended]
UnattendMode = FullUnattended
UnattendSwitch = No
OemPreinstall = Yes
OemSkipEula = Yes
FileSystem = *
WaitForReboot = No
NoWaitAfterTextMode = 1
NoWaitAfterGUIMode = 1
DriverSigningPolicy = Ignore
NonDriverSigningPolicy = Ignore

Check out the answer file near the beggining of the RIS post in the "how do you do it" section. You can pick out the bits you need from there.

http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/19/
is very useful.
[unattended]
Repartition=yes
then tell it to skip the modem part then add a user name
I think you need.
[GuiUnattended]
AdminPassword=YourPassword
For the modem bit - is it asking for a driver? If so you'll need to add the driver to the cd. See the above website for details of this. Or if it is asking for country codes etc... see [TapiLocation] bit on the above link.

If you tell it to join the domain during setup, the 'protect my computer' and modem bits shouldn't be displayed (plus the computer will join to the domain
).
