Icon change after installing IE7 and Media Player 11

Has anyone noticed any of there icons change after installing I IE7 and Media Player 11?

I had a custom shortcut to a website on my desktop and that has now changed to the small icon which is normally displayed in the address bar next to the url. I have manually changed it back but every time i go tot the website it changed again.

Also since installing Media Player 11 i have noticed that all of my AVI icons have changed. I think this may be to do with another bit of software that has taken over the icon. I have done the 'Open With' and 'makes this the default application' but still no icon change.

Anyone notice anything or is it just me?

Yeah I have had some icon changes, and they are down to WMP11 and IE7. IE7 loves to show off its Gold swoosh and WMP changed a lot of icons as far as i can see to basically say what file it is as its image.
