Office 2003 with mandatory profiles

Hi,
We have recently upgrade out network to windows server 2003 r2 with XP SP2 clients, running among other applications office 2003 professional edition. However every time a student goes to load office it run the office 2003 installer and configures itself, when building the mandatory profile we ran office 2003, but it still keeps coming up. By the way Application Data is being redirected to their Work Areas.
Does any one have any ideas
