My own Technet subscription runs out today, and was just about to renew but to be honest Ive got better things to spend another £300 of my money on than that.
Is there any way you can get it discounted with the MS Schools Agreement or some other way? And any idea of the cost if its possible?

I am sure there was something about TN being part of the Schools Agreement or some MS Licencing Scheme, but I don't know if it was discounted.

It does not cover Technet Plus though. We stiff up several hundred pounds each year (money well spent though!) to renew our subscription.

There is a discounted version available via Select Agreements ... the best people to speak to are your regular supplier and/or the Microsoft Edu team.

@Russ, TN + is avalable here in the UK, we get it at our place, updates come monthly as usual. So yup its around, do as Tony says get in-touch with your normal select / SA provider and give them a prodd.

Russ, yes I think you can get Direct, was about £275 when I looked, that could have been a renewel price though

I get Technet Plus for up to 14 users and 1 media kit free with my School Agreement 3.
If you have School Agreement you should have been given a login to the Microsoft Volume Licensing Website. Go there and click on Software Assurance Benefits and you should see your benefits listed.
Mine include the corporate error reporting kit, SA eLearning, Virtual PC Express and Pre-installation Environment....
Now all I need is the time to use it all

As a schools agreement subscriber I thought I was missing out on something free then but according to the MS website:
Additional Benefits when more than 5 Servers are purchased with Software Assurance:
Technet Plus
Extended Lifecycle Hot-fix Support
Something to keep in mind for the next subscription. How much do people pay for their server licences under the schools agreement?
