Disable DHCP on the old server and enable it on the new one. Authorise it if needed.
Thats all nothing too complicated with DHCP.
When clients start searching for a dhcp server they will find the new one.

I tried this earlier, i disabled DHCP on current DC and enabled it on new DC. I then did a ipconfig/ release nd renew and it could nt get a new IP address.
Before i did this i also did a nslookup and it stillpointed to the old DC?
