Hi
I have just created a paint ball 2 server running on linux and am intending to open it at the end of the term as a Chistmas treat for the kids. Its running on a 2.4 gig server with 1 gig of ram and a gig nic.
I have run a few tests and it works great. How many users will it be able to cope with anyone got any ideas and will it generate so much traffic it will stop the network.
We have about 250 pcs the kids can get at and I would guess about 200 pcs are being used by kids at any one time. The ict coordinator has oked it.

8th December 2009, 02:09 PM #4 Awesome, I'll PM you save taking this off topic.
It shouldn't affect your network to be honest... just see how it goes i suppose it depends on what equipment you have
our 10gb Extreme Kit wouldn't care about it
