VMWare CD problem

I'm running a virtual W2k3 server using VMServer V2 and i wanted to copy the contents of a couple of cds to a folder on the server - put cd1 in select all - copy - create folder on server - paste - all ok.

swapped to cd2 did the same procedure and afterwards noticed that both dest folders contained the same files (all off cd1).

Checked source D: drive - yep - all files the same- F5 - no diff thought this can't be right and put cd2 into a client machine - yep files are different.

I've just put cd2 back into server and it still thinks the files their are cd1's files

Anyway of forcing a refresh?

Disconnect the cd drive then reconnect it? virtually of course.
