    Pen Drive Backup

    A very simple question:

    Does anyone know of a way to automatically backing a pen drive up when ever it is plugged into a machine?

    You could use an autorun script, if you didnt have autorun disabled like we do here.

    So I could just write an autorun script for the drive to copy it's entire contents so a certain place? Sounds like a simple enough idea.

    for backing my pen drive up to my home machine, i use microsoft synctoy and usbdlm (to launch synctoy when the drive is plugged in)

    Here is some software that will do it for a price Automatic USB Backup & Synchronize, Backup File to USB drive, Sync Files with USB drive.

    Hope this is what you are lookin for

    have picked up a copy of that pendrive software, seems pretty decent. Will give it a trial run wiht my ladys laptop this week.
