Default Upgrading IE6 to IE8

Hello,

I have a number of machines that I am going to upgrade to IE8 from IE6.
My question is - If i import the adm file for IE8 into GPMC before ive upgraded all of the stations, will this new adm still control the settings for IE6? (Homepage proxy etc etc.)

Upgrading from IE6 to IE8 is absolutely fine.

And yes, updating the IE ADM will apply to IE6, IE7 and IE8. Go for it

No updating file will keep settings just fine, just go through settings as there is lots of new ones that might need applying.
