19th November 2009, 01:10 PM #2 plenety of info on here. Basically you get teh application in msi form and (often if its adobe) correct the mistakes, add your serial number, config, and deploy it in GP.
Or if it isnt an MSI you look inside the exe incase the msi is packaged up inside (which it quite often is). Or if its not you use a snapshot type program like WinInstallLE to package it up, or you script it with "application.exe /veryquiet" etc.
Heres a list of apps you may need
Windows installer Wrapper Wizard
WininstallLE
Filemon
RegMon
Orca (for editing MSIs and MSTs)

19th November 2009, 01:12 PM #4 What server are you running?
Generally, you want to use the Group Policy Snap in, create a new GPO on the Organisational Unit you want to install software into, and use the Software Settings of the Computer Management part to distribute installs.
Let me google that for you
Top result is quite a good starting point for you ..
