PC's not picking up group policy!
Argh! GP! You know what it's like!
I've got a room where half the pc's are deciding to just not pick up the group policy!
It's a living nightmare!!
Now, they can right click on the desktop, don't pick up the desktop icons etc.
It's all going bad.
When I run an ipconfig it's attached to the network fine, plus i can see the computers using the tutor control program. It just seems to be randomly not picking up the GP.
Please please please .... any suggestions?

GPO errors usually indicate a DNS problem.
Try pinging the Domain Controller using the FQDN (fully Qualified Domain Name eg. myserver.mydomain.co.uk)
On a client at the command promt type GPUPDATE /force
Log off or reboot if asked to, then check the even logs for any errors.
At the command prompt type GPRESULT and check that all the required GPO's are applied and none filtered out that you want to be applied
Also do start run and type rsop.msc at the client this will show if the user or computer confiuration is failing (indicated by a red cross)
Post any event log errors here and I will do my best to resolve them.

Few things....
a) check your Event Viewer logs and see if theres anything relating to it there i.e. restart and when it comes on, remember the time, and then when you are logged in, see whats there.
b) switch become faulty [or damaged network cabling / magnetic and or electrical interference]
c) drivers - could be, if they are all the same model, and the LAN driver [or a chipset driver perhaps] has been updated or you have rebuilt the machines with different version of the drivers to the last time
d) dns.....
.....maybe not really - but we do like to blame dns for everything hehe

The GPMC is your friend with these problems. You can stay in your seat and interogate the remote computers to see what's going wrong.
The answer probably is DNS-related mind... most things are!

What network card you got ?
We had GP problems last year using SiS900's until we replaced them with Intel's
