Just a quick question for the people in MK.
If you get sophos from the council have you noticed that there have been no updates for a while?

We use sophos here in Lancs aswell. The latest update was at 9:12am today.
Code:Sophos Anti-Virus = 6.0.4 Release status = Full Threat detection engine = 2.38.2 Threat detection data = 4.10 Threats detected = 192005 Threat detection identities = 140 Last updated = 04/10/2006 09:12:04
isn't that the last time your server updated?
http://www.sophos.com/downloads/ide/
will tell you the last uploaded ide files
which was 08:48 this morning!

Yes, I know, but it checks the LancsNGFL server directly every 30mins. And the LancsNGFL server checks Sophos every hour or so.
Historically, I can say from experience we get three updates a day. One early morning. One around Lunchtime and another late afternoon/evening.
Currently The Admin server updates from the LEA parent, then the curric server updates from admin server.
Currently looking at the published packages from Sophos Em Library, and the time issued on all packages is 31/07/2006 - and looking in sophos
And when the scheduled update runs the log returns the message "no files have changed"
So I'm guessing the problem lies with the LEA?Code:Sophos Anti-Virus = 6.0.2 Release status = Full Threat detection engine = 2.36.1 Threat detection data = 4.08 Threats detected = 185285 Threat detection identities = 78 Last updated = 04/10/2006 11:47:16
Yes. Their server must not be updating from Sophos correctly.
