I've been banging my head against a brick wall with this problem for a while now.
I have Shockwave 11 installed (MSI via GP), with no apparent errors. However, going to the Shockwave test page as a non-admin just shows a black box, yet if I go there as an admin it says it's installed and the latest version.
I had the same problem with previous v11 and also v10 installs. (The last time it worked was aaaaaaages ago, and I don't want to go back to an old version)
Any ideas?

I recently posted a link in this thread (ie7 not playing swf files (any ideas)) about a possible solution concerning permissions

I haven't tried. But local install on 500+ PCs isn't an option
