    Cannot send to specific domains..

    Hi all

Im having a problem sending mail to all the feeder schools in our area. The mail justs sits in our exchange 2003 server and keeps retrying, but doesnt get sent. The domain is n-yorks.sch.uk. Has anyone else had trouble sending to a specific domain? if you have did you resolve it and how? Ive looked on forums and it seems to me other people have issues with sending to specific domains but it doesnt tell me how they solved it?? Ive rung county and they said that someone will get back to me... haha.. that will never happen.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks
    Tim

Have you used nslookup to check that you can resolve their dns names?

    type in a dns name.

    Code:
    C:\Documents and Settings\administrator.STMICHAELS>nslookup
    Default Server: stmichaels01.st-michaels-ce23.lancsngfl.ac.uk
    Address: 10.81.104.2

    > vle.carrhill.lancs.sch.uk
    Server: stmichaels01.st-michaels-ce23.lancsngfl.ac.uk
    Address: 10.81.104.2

    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: vle.carrhill.lancs.sch.uk
    Address: 10.73.24.9

Your DNS is incorrectly setup. Do you have the primary schools DNS setup in your DNS? We use stub zones here.
