Old DC still in Sites and Services

I recently replaced two DC's and they both appeared to dcpromo correctly but i've just noticed that one of them is still listed in AD Sites and Services. It doesn't have and NTDS Settings listed beneath it like the other DC's it's just the object.

Can this be deleated manually or should I be using Ntdsutil.exe?

    Cheers.

Presumably the old DC has been completely demoted and isn't even part of the domain anymore? If this is the case and there's no NTDS entry, it should be safe to delete.

I've had a similar problem in the past whereby after demoting an old DC, it was still listed as an available DHCP Server. I never did find a way of deleting it, but it didn't create any problems as you need to authorise a DHCP Server before it can start dishing out IPs.

Yes and if I run the MS metadata cleanup script it finds no evidence of the old server so i'm pretty sure it's ok to delete. Just seeing if anyone had any horror stories.
