Hi. Here we go again, next problem !.
W2K server ... W2k workstations.
On the workstation hard drives I have Two partitions C ..& .. D
I do not want the pupils to see C or D
I have enabled on the server GP :-
Root.
Managed.
pupil ou.
User config..
Win.. comp..
Win.. Explorer.
Hide these drives in my computer. = C
prevent access to drives = C
Ok that hides C but I cannot see how to hide D also.
Help please ... ( D partition was used for my ghosting image ).
Michael.

I use hidecalc
Just run the program and you'll see the various options - startup script, Group Policy template or registry hack.

also, where you were:
(User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer)
Hide these specified drives in My Computer > Restrict A, B, C and D drives only
Prevent access to drives from My Computer > Restrict A, B, C and D drives only

Easy one this:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q231289/
That document helped me when I needed to do it (for a 2000 Server/XP Client domain- although checking the article it is valid for your setup too).
