My Documents redirection problem

I'm currently working in a different school than my own trying to sort out there IT.

I am attempting to redirect My Documents to the users H:\ drive but when I do the redirection creates a further set of folders (mirroring the server path) underneath H:\ to which My Documents is redirected.

I'm a bit stuck on this, anyone got any ideas?

Check permissions on the server and check the event logs on the local machine. It'll give clues as to why its failing. I'd also check Folder Redirection setting(s) within Active Directory too and compare it to how you usually set things up.

I'd suggest mapping to the unc path rather than a mapped drive as it is a far more robust solution and less likely to cause issues.
