Ok, how many people here own/use an iPaq or a Palm of some variety?
Personally, I've got an old style H2215 with just the basics on it, which I use for Outlook/Exchange integration & holding reference aids/manuals as PDFs using Pocket Acrobat Reader (when it works!).
So what does everyone else use?

I have a iPaq h4150 which has inbuilt WiFi and bluetooth which is pretty funky - obviously my own since I would only ever get the worst of the worst from the school (being network manager and all that).
I still need to configure it to play with my new Exchange 2003 setup but that promises to be fun when it eventually works (a little busy to sort it though at the mo).
Check out the essential software wiki pages for 2 must have apps, WiFiFoFum (a pocket WiFi sniffer that seems to work on just about anything going - MiniStumbler doesn't like the integrated WiFi) and Calendar+ (a superb app for displaying more than just today's appointments on the Today screen.
I also use CoPilot for GPS and route planning - works like a charm. I have a powered Arkon mount to amplify the sound and a bluetooth GPS receiver.

I have a HP hx4700, and yes it was brought for me by the school.....!
About 4 members of SLT decided to but themselves one. THen kept coming to me and asking how to do this and that. So I told out head of ICT that how was i supposed to support these devices when i had not got access to one to use........!
Guess what?, he went out and ordered me one.....
I use it for emails, making notes for odd jobs etc and the odd manual in PDF is on there.

I've got a palm Clie TH-55. Use it for office apps - docs to go - apparently more compatable than the windows pda's, email, vnc across the network using onboard wireless, hacked someones bluetooth phone andsent a text once :P, FTP, IM, web browsing, playin toons, video recorder and still cam, watchin movies and TV shows, oh - and taking memo's! Damn Sony pulled it after only a few months tho' - deciding PocketPC is the way forward. Still a stonkin device with outstanding battery life.
Would recommend the 1src forums for any palm users out there.

Ive got a HP IPAQ 5550. It has Blutooth and WIFI and at 400 mhz and 128 meg ram its nearly as powefull (if not more powerful in it's own way) as some of the Desktops we have!!! I also use Tom Tom GPS as well with it as I get lost easily in the car
. Bought by myself a while back with the proceeds of a small consultancy job.
