Ive got a wierd problem on one of my machines, when a specific user logs in you get this picture of a snake for a wallpaper before the gpo kicks in and sets the wallpaper to what i set it to domain wide.
it also appears when you press ctrl+alt+delete
how can i remove this?
Not sure what the "proper" method to stop it is, but I would search the hard drive for images then delete the snake picture. Should sort it out.

There are two possible registry entries causing this:
Look for a entry called 'Background' and change it accordingly to 0 0 0, or you could try leaving it blank.Code:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Colors
I think that if it's for a specific user then just bosh their profile. We have this problem and this is how we solved it for single users but when the machines started to display pictures for all users in this manner we had to reg-hack the machines. Personally we don't bother now, it ain't worth our time.
