    XP Style Start Menu Query

I'm trying to create a GPO to control the start menu appearance for the pupils
So far ive restricted it to My Computer, Printers, All Programs (redirected) and logoff

My query is - how do i set My computer & Printers to appear as menu's rather than as a link for all users?

    Not using a mandatory profile

Don't know for sure but it's probably a registry thing.

You could try using RegShot to compare the registry before and after you make the changes manually.

Kellys Korner is a good place for XP tweaks.

Assuming it is registry based, then capture the settings in a .REG file and merge at logon.
