Backup - time to change!

We use to suffer from a lot of Backup Exec issues, but in the last 12 - 18 months backups are generally pretty consistent.

I've used this in a number of primaries and really liked it, free 30 day trial, and a range of supported hardware to backup to.

Depends how complex your backup needs are really.

Never had a problem with backupexec to be honest, its run flawlessly for the last 4 years.

Using 10d with all the latest patches(SP4).

Do you do a scheduled backup to tape?

I was using rotating hotswap harddrives at the time and had no problems

Yeah we use BackupExec, and its pretty good. Occasionally, had problems with backup to tape, but mostly through our own fault. We are looking to go to 12.5 and backup our VM's to a massive NAS soon. Should be a major improvment.
