IE 8 Settings not holding..
I have set in the GPO for Group Admin staff and in Ranger Administrator for the Group Admin Staff that it must use a Proxy server..
Yet when the user logs on the use proxy server is unticked and interferes with their web browsing...
How can I force this to stay..... they use roaming Profiles..

14th June 2009, 10:48 AM #2 Try just using one of them to set the Proxy Server address, they might be conflicking. Ranger gets applied after settings are applied by the GP I think so try taking out of ranger first.
Just a thought.
Also are you using the updated ADM file?

The problem with this is that the Students use a different Proxy server to the Staff so a domain wide policy would affect the students :-(
