    IE8 Add Ons - Remove

    See attached picture - it's most probably staring me in the face but I can't find the policy to remove this short cut from the toolbar - [ Get More Add-ons ]

    Sorry, group policy.....

    I've managed to disable Add-Ons but I don't want this shortcut.

    This is part of IE8's Favorites Bar. You can turn it off by enabling this policy:

    User Config > Admin Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer

    Turn off Favorites Bar - Enabled

    Thanks - found it worked if I changed the setting in the computer config. I can't remember which takes authority if there is a mismatch, computer or user.....Dam Microsoft & their double english too - turn something on to turn it off.....Aaaaghhh.
