    Shockwave 11 Autoupdate

I'm just looking into deploying Shockwave 11 and I've seen threads about the autoupdater being a pain to get rid of, I think I edited the msi with V10 to get rid.

    Anyone have a better way?

    Cheers.

Yeh can delete/control keys using things like group policy preferences.
It depends where it stored the setting I guess.

I think fingers crossed i've found the entry in the msi and have edited it out using Orca.

    We'll see what happens.

Why not just push out the new MSI? You're up-to-date, so there's nothing more to update.

The new msi doesn't always come out straight away and I might not want to update straight away (testing) but in the mean time it keeps popping up and reminding users. It's all disabled now so nothing more to worry about.
