    I certainly plan to once the dust settles a bit here - we're rushed off our feet at the moment.

    I agree about this being a training issue rather than a technical issue, and I've seen staff workstations left logged onto SIMS. If the idea is to protect against students tampering with workstations left logged on by staff - well, I'd have thought they could do plenty damage already, SIMS or no, and logging out or locking unattanded computers is the way to go.

    Still...if they insist on an extra security check before running certain programs, it would probably be easier to implement a single universal password than re-authentication, maybe through password-protected folders.
