I've installed Any Video Converter so that the kids can convert some video files they need for their DIDA projects. However, when anyone tried to run the program they get the following error (See Attached)
Is there anyway I can solve this?

Could be a permissions issue on the C:\D&S\ folder - does it work fine for unrestricted/admin users?
Yes, we do restrict access to the C: Drive for students. I was hoping there was a way to allow this program to run without having to unrestrict the C: Drive in GPO.
You would only need to unrestrict the specific folder, not the entire C drive.
The GPO only allows you restrict entire drives. How can you tell it to allow certain folders?
I do it using writeaccess.ini files within CC3 - not sure how it is done outside of RM land.
lol, well, we don't use CC3, however, seeing as I now live in RM land, maybe I can ask "us" for help!
I forgot to mention we are using Super Mandatory profiles for the kids. Maybe this could also be causing the issue. Either way, other programs don't tend to complain if they need access to D&S so why should this?
I was thinking that after posting - if it is writing to C:\D&S\[username]\ it shouldn't be an issue (not so with the All Users folder, mind you). Have you had a look in the folder in question to see what sort of files are in there, and what it might be trying to do to/with them?
That's the funny thing. I just ran the program as myself (Domain Admin) and it doesn't even create a folder in the structure.
I also ran the file as a Teacher account and they get the same error even though they have access to the C: drive and have roaming profiles.
