I want to video what I do on some software and incorperate it into a DVD using Adobe CS. Is there any FREE software to record the desktop in a CS friendly format?

CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software might do what you're after ... not sure about the CS side though.

CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software does this, but I don't know what format type it uses. Another suggestion would be SmartNotebook, not free but you may already have it.

+1 for Wink (see Wink - [Homepage] ) - creates a Flash video that can include annotations and narration.
