James.
Lol no thanks we are still using 2003![]()
I was planning on taking MCP on 2007 and converting to MCITP... guess i'll wait >_< - still, if i can get ahold of it I will have to play with it![]()
Thanks for that!
I'm downloading now
If no one else has beaten me to it (and done a better job) then I'll post a mini review and a few screenshots soon.

I am doing the same this evening, RACE !!![]()
although knowing my luck something will come up and i wont get round to it lol
James.
You may well win the race...
I've just looked over the min spec at Exchange 2010 System Requirements - sadly my home computer won't be up to it (unless I can lay my hands on the x32 version somehow!)

Woo! i have no issue's with that![]()
Lol rub it in why don't you! I do desperately need a home computer upgrade!
.... I wonder if (as I'm technically doing this to benefit work as well as interest me) work might finance a new one for me?! ....I'm the budget holder - so it could - I'm just not sure how comfortable I'd feel about explaining it!!

I'll PM You, Dont want to take this Off Topic![]()
Sorry @mb2k01! There will be no x32 version since microsoft are moving all server platforms to x64 (starting with Server 2008 R2 - x64 only) - Time to upgrade!!
It's interesting, this is exactly the same thing I have been using for my email for the past 6 months (with LCS), works perfectly though!![]()
There's supposedly an x32 version for testing/training, but agree about deployment - I think it's entirely suitable to ensure it's on x64 only.
Having read a lot of info and watched a couple of vids this product looks fantastic! So much more on offer than 2007 (speaking as a 2003 user/cert!). Proper unified messaging and by the sounds of it, far easiler licensing - particulaly for schools!
Blimey how many product updates do Microsoft wanna do... not everyone is on 2007 (we are and love it) yet let alone 2010!!!

I definitely think Microsoft need to change their approach. They're still releasing new server products far too often. I think an Exchange 2007 R2 would be more appropriate. Just how many new features are there going to be in Exchange 2010 over Exchange 2007?
I'm trying to look at this Exchange 2010 at work and it's just being a massive pain in Server 2k8.
Is it going to be ok joining the Domain then removing it later? It's asking me to update the Schema now, is that wise or will i tbreak my network when I remove it?
