I've found loads of programs that will convert video/flash files into SCR format, but is there anything which will do it vice versa?
Cheers

15th April 2009, 09:06 AM #2 Depends how many you want to do! There is a piece of software called Snagit which i believe is excellent there is a free trial but i'm not sure how long it lasts.
Will keep looking if i find anything else will post it up on here.

15th April 2009, 09:07 AM #3 Unlikely - SCR is basically an executable. So to give a contrived example, a screensaver could calculate Pi to as many decimal places as you leave it on for (yes, I know, depending on the method you would probably run out of RAM... ) leading to an "infinite length" video if you could "convert" it.
The closest you will get is software that videocaptures the screen - though this may suck heartily for 3d stuff.
What are you actually trying to achieve?

Yeah, I had expected that, but thought I'd ask anyway. As you say, screencapture software isn't something I would really want to use unless I absolutely had to. Cheers!
