Is the recycle bin part of a roaming profile?

Does it delete the contents on log off or does it stay as part of the
profile.?

If you do folder redirection for My Documents using a GPO then you will find a faolder called RECYLCER hidden in the user's home share. This for deletions in the My Documents folder/home share.

I'm not sure what happens if you let My Documents be part of the roaming profile download along with user registry hive and desktop and AppData folders.

The recycle bin contents are stored on the hard disk where the folder resides, - ive seen it on my file server when i search thru their home folders - it shows up all the files i have deleted on the server

also deleting from a network share perma-deletes the file

edit: if you look closely at the recycler you'll see referneces to SID's (probably for each user!)

Also recycle bin will not save files deleted from a network drive..
