    SQL Server

Does anyone know of a windows component that installs a basic SQL Server on the OS to records tasks/events etcetera? I think I installed 2003 once and some thing was there but now I can't seem to find it?

    Re: SQL Server

You can download MS SQL Server 2005 Express which is a limited version of SQL which is free to use or download MySQL.

Of course you will need some kind of application to interact with the database. What exactly are you wanting to populate the database with?

Yes, Wes. Are you after a HelpDesk or an event log aggregator?

    Re: SQL Server

Well actually I want to use it with Print Manager Plus I would rather have an SQL setup instead of MSDE or Access.

    Re: SQL Server

@wesleyw: SQL Server 2005 Express should do the job then.
