Remote install service??

Hello,
I'm not entirely sure what or how it works, but my incling is that using it would enable me to remotely format and reinstall XP sp2 to all computers connected to the domain.
Is this a good incling?
If it is how does it work, is it succesfull, reliable, decent? Even if it only works on 100 out 250 computers at my place it will make my summer holidays (full time contract all holidays :cry: ) much easier. (also enable be to watch more films and try setting up some LAN parties.

But to remotely install a service requires that the host operating system is there so I don't see how you can reformat and reinstall using this?

Do you not have any sort of ghost or ris solution for reinstalling working at the moment?
